National NeighborWorks® Association

Dual Faceted Advocacy

The National NeighborWorks Association (NNA) is the effective trade association for NeighborWorks chartered organizations. In 2023, we proudly represent 239 organizations, 237 NeighborWorks organizations, in addition to two capital corporations, located across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. NNA champions external advocacy for funding and sound policies while also serving as the voice of the NeighborWorks organization network, ensuring the concerns, needs, and recommendations of our members are conveyed to NeighborWorks America.

Staffing Update

Welcome Chloe Grainger, our new Director of Policy and Advocacy!

We are excited to announce that Chloe Grainger has joined the staff of the National NeighborWorks Association (NNA) as Director of Policy and Advocacy, after almost five years of Hill experience in developing and advancing policy priorities.

“Chloe Grainger’s extensive experience in policy covering agriculture, nutrition, education, labor, tax, housing, and small business issue areas, including the Member’s work in the House Appropriations Committee will benefit NNA members’ and their communities, “ stated Lou Tisler, NNA Executive Director.  “Merging her experience and passion for affordable housing and community development under the NNA banner will create opportunities and address challenges that our members face on the federal level.”

“Having dedicated myself to shaping policies that uplift communities, I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter and join the NNA team," Grainger said. "I hope to bring my years of congressional experience and deep-seated passion for affordable housing and community development to support NNA's vital mission. I am excited to work collaboratively with NNA's incredible membership, leveraging our collective strength to promote affordable housing and fight economic inequality on a national scale."
